Mmiliaku
Mmiliaku's character represents grace. During one of her flashbacks, Zikora explains that Mmiliaku's name means water, a symbol of purity and clarifying power. Throughout the narrative, Mmiliaku's presence in Zikora's life grants her a constant sense of comfort and empathy. Mmiliaku is able to see Zikora in a way no one else can. She is a voice of reason, and remains gracious and kind to Zikora, even when her cousin's hardships seem insignificant in comparison to her own suffering.
