Arden Alliance is the company where Jack and Gabe are conducting a pen test at the beginning of the novel. It is shortly after Jack completed the physical test at the office and was accosted by the security officer that Gabe was murdered.

House on Salisbury Lane

The house on Salisbury Lane is where Jack and Gabe lived together. Jack arrives home after completing the pen test at Arden Alliance to discover that Gabe has been murdered. Just more than one year later, Jack arrives home to hear the sound of her and Gabe’s infant daughter crying.

Noemie’s Cottage

Cole gives Jack permission to stay in Noemie’s cottage to keep the police from finding her. Cole, however, drives to the cottage, alerting police to where Jack is hiding.
