Julie

Julie is a seventeen-year-old high school senior who has planned out her dream future with long-term boyfriend Sam. She hopes to graduate from high school, move out of her small town and attend college in Portland. She has always dreamed of being a writer and enjoys her part-time job at a local bookstore. Her life changes when Sam passes away in a tragic car accident and she feels as though everything has fallen apart.

Julie lives with her mother in Ellensburg while her father lives in Seattle. She does not spend much time with either of her parents, and she does not lean on them for support after Sam’s death.
