Summary

In Chapter 26, Jacob returns to his parents’ home. Jacob tells Joy he fears he likes Briana more than she likes him. Joy urges Jacob to fight for Briana. She can tell that Briana understands him.

Briana wakes up to a phone call from Jacob in Chapter 27. He wants to take her to breakfast. Briana explains that she is in Wakan, visiting Alexis. Jacob asks if he can come. Alexis says yes. He promises to be there in thirty minutes. Alexis tells Briana it is clear that Jacob likes Briana.
