Aviva/Jane Young
Aviva is a young Jewish woman who attends the University of Miami. In her junior year, she decides that she wants to go into politics, so she declares a major in political science and Spanish literature. She asks her father to connect her with Congressman Levin, who used to live next door to the family. Her father does as asked, and Aviva gets a job working as an intern in the campaign office.
Aviva stands out in the office because she is larger and more curvy than the other girls in the office, and she wears a tight outfit on her first day of work. The congressman sees her crying about it, and he comforts her. Shortly after this interaction, Aviva makes a move on the congressman and they begin an affair. Aviva feels powerless to break out of what she knows is a dysfunctional cycle...
