Summary

In Chapter 7, Ivy wakes up and confirms that she saw nothing but Boney upstairs, though she heard something up there that made her walk into the studio in the first place. They continue watching the news and Ivy recognizes the sleazy reporter, Dale Hawkins, who her father hates. Mateo and Ivy wonder if Cal’s Lara could have been the blonde woman spotted with the syringe, but Cal says there is no way. Cal realizes he accidentally took Boney’s phone because he thought it was Ivy’s. He says he needs to go see Lara but will be back late. Mateo pretends he is fine with this, but then tells Ivy that they are going to follow Cal.
