Summary

Liz is disheartened that she is still ranked second to last in the prom race. She is growing closer to Jordan, however, through all of the community service, and other students are beginning to gossip. Liz always feels like Jordan ignores her when his other friends are around, so she does not want to get too comfortable around him.

In Chapter 10, Liz has to meet with Mack to catch her up to speed on the band music. They lose track of time and Liz is excited by how talented Mack is with the piece that she composed.

In Chapter 11, Liz prepares to compete in the Bake-Off competition for extra prom points. Rachel goes out of her way to discourage Liz from continuing her bid for the crown. A food fight breaks out among some of the athletes during the event and Liz and...
