Feyi

Feyi, the main character, is a Nigerian American artist in her late 20s who lives in Brooklyn. At the start of the novel, she is still mourning the loss of her husband, Jonah, who died in a car accident five years ago. Feyi is an intense and impulsive person who feels emotions deeply, which is reflected in the spontaneity she shows in her art and her love life. She is concerned with her own needs and desires but also shows concern and care for the people around her, a quality that leads her to inner conflict at many points.
