Preparing for College

Nate, Blair, Dan, Serena, and Aaron are all getting ready for college. They have different ideas about it and different approaches to getting into college, but they all share a common goal that adds stress to their high school experience.

Serena wants to go to Brown. That's where her brother attends college, and she wants to prove that she is capable of doing something on her own. Her interview doesn't go well, but she recollects herself and hopes for the best. Winning the Film Festival gives her a sense of accomplishment that might help her get into college.

Blair is determined to go to Yale, just as her father did. She envisions herself going there with Nate by her side. When her interview turns into a disaster, she appeals to her father to donate to the college to help her get in.
