The House

The house that Mark and Chloe used to live in is the haunted house in this ghost story. It is the place where Brendan died and it is the place where all of Mark's happiest and most horrible memories. The novel gets into motion because the realtor Mark and Chloe sold the house to sold it to a woman named Connie, who has a son named Jacob, who heard about the little boy who died in his house from some friends at school. Jacob was scared about this, so he had a nightmare, and when his mother asked him what was wrong, she heard him wrong. She thought that he was seeing a ghost, and he did not correct her because he liked the attention this got him.
