Summary

Chapter 46. Penryn and the other girls are taken to San Francisco on the ferry. When they reach the dock, Penryn is able to grab her sword and hide it elsewhere. As she touches it, however, the sword gives her a vision. It is of Raffe on a night before he had gotten his demon wings, when he had taken one of Penryn’s hairs and wrapped it around the hilt of the sword.

Chapter 47. Penryn tries convincing the ferry captain to return to Alcatraz to help free everyone, but he refuses.

Chapter 48. Penryn is on a bus when she spots the twins sitting in a car. Penryn drops a note she had written for the ferry captain out of the window in hopes the twins and the Resistance can help the people at Alcatraz.

Chapter 49. Penryn arrives at Half Moon Bay and is...
