Summary

On pages 100-101, Rachel drives Martin home after work, but asks him not to talk so that she can keep her peace. He obliges.

On pages 102-106, Rachel sees her therapist Gus, complaining to him about the mindless, pointless work she is doing at the bookstore; She is recording notes and markings that are in the letter library, but it feels so minor and she thinks she has better things to do. When he asks what better things she has to do, she gets angry and stops speaking to him. She leaves, and drives back to the bookstore to pick up George. George asks her about Cal, whom she knew a little, and Rachel talks to her about him without revealing that he is dead.
