Summary
On pages 74-80, Rachel listens as Henry drunkenly goes on a tirade about the way she forgot him quickly. When she asks him about the letter she wrote, she realizes that he never received it. Still, she is too embarrassed to tell him now, so she lets it go. They decide to be friends again, and Rachel brings him home to his family. However, right when they say goodbye, he leans in and kisses her before passing out.
When Rachel returns home, Rose lets her know some good news— the cleaning job is available again! However, Rachel decides to keep the bookstore job and then falls asleep while reminiscing about her ex-boyfriend, Joel, and thinking about Henry’s kiss.
