Summary
In "Prufrock and Other Observations", a letter from Rachel to Henry details a declaration of love, urging him to be with Rachel, who loves him, and not with Amy, who does not. She also asks Henry to call her when he receives the letter. The year marked on the letter is 2012.
Pages 2-5 follow Rachel as she wakes up in the middle of the night when she imagines hearing her brother’s breath despite his drowning almost one year ago. She has dropped out of Year 12 due to this tragedy, and is planning to head back to the town named Gracetown where she grew up.
