Summary

In "Prufrock and Other Observations", a letter from Rachel to Henry details a declaration of love, urging him to be with Rachel, who loves him, and not with Amy, who does not. She also asks Henry to call her when he receives the letter. The year marked on the letter is 2012.

She gets up and heads to the beach with his dog, Woof. She remembers seeing a beached whale with her brother and mother, and sits on the beach reminiscing until her mother comes to find her.
