Part 5: The Stranded, 76 – 82

In Chapter 76, Lukas believes his rooms in IT have become smoky but Bernard does not seem to think so. Lukas has figured out how to get out of IT, and puts his plan into action. He asks for George Wilkins’ file. Bernard indicates that George was a dangerous man. He basically admits that he killed him. Bernard realizes that Lukas isn’t the man that he needs to take his place. Lukas indicates that he wants to go home, wants out of the server room. Bernard accepts Lukas’ request to go out of the server room as a request to get out of the silo. He calls for Billings.
