Part 3 Summary and Analysis
Wooden talks about the importance of being a teacher or coach and the impact that you can have on the lives that you instruct. He talks about the fact that being a coach is like being a leader. You have to direct your team and convince them that you are all working for the same goal and in addition to that the players have to know that they have accomplished something themselves. He says that a leader doesn't motivate with violence or anger. He makes a distinction between a person that motivates with fear of discipline to a dictator.
