Wooden is a book that was written by John Wooden with help from Steve Jamison. The book describes Wooden's personal philosophies of life that have been the basis for his life while on the basketball court and off.
John Wooden was born in Hall, Indiana in 1910. His parents, Joshua and Roxie Anna, worked hard to instill him with a set of values that they themselves lived by. Wooden explains all the hard work that his father and his mother did without complaining. He learned about life by watching them.
