Chapters 91 through 93 Summary
Henry telephones Sara, the last of the three women he met at his most-recent reading. Sara invites him to visit her at her health-food cafy, named the Drop On Inn. Henry drives around and finds the cafy, but stops at a nearby bar to have a few drinks. He enters the cafy at closing time and Sara makes him a sandwich and instructs him to help her close up. They then return to her apartment and drink. Sara tells Henry that she is a spiritual adherent to Drayer Baba, a recently deceased mystic who claimed to be God. A huge number of acquaintances visit Sara's apartment and Henry feels ill at ease. After all the guests leave, Henry and Sara kiss and then fondle each other. Sara, subservient to the teachings of Drayer Baba, will not engage in pre-marital sexual intercourse...
