Summary
The Wizard of the Crow begins his speech by pointing out that the pregnancy does not have to be malignant. He questions why and how Africa has become so dependent on the West. Big Ben Mambo intervenes to redirect the Wizard of the Crow towards the stated plan of finding Nyawira. Kaniuru is jealous of the sorcerer, who he now remembers as the man sitting on the steps outside Eldares Construction Company, talking to Nyawira. One of the youth, working for Kaniuru, tells him that he once worked as a garbage collector and that they once buried him.
