Summary
Tajirika returns home, surprised to find that Vinjinia has improved the business in his absence. This only makes him doubt his wife more. One day, Vinjinia finally breaks down and Tajirika, angry and bitter, badly beats her. Kahiga and Njoya go to see Nyawira at the shrine. She receives a call from Kamiti saying he has arrived in New York. One day a Muslim woman comes to see Nyawira. When she removes her veil, Nyawira realizes that it is Vinjinia, badly disfigured from the beatings. Vinjinia tells Nyawira that she wants her husband dead. Nyawaira tells Vinjinia to go home.
One day, while walking on the street, Tajirika is shoved into the back of a black van. The kidnappers remove their masks and reveal that they are women. They describe themselves as a new order of justice and seat Vinjinia across from Tajirika...
