Summary
When Nyawira gets to work, Tajirika is already there. He is upset with the newspaper coverage of the beggars’ protest yesterday. Just as Tajirika is about to relate the story of his meeting with the Global Bank, the phone begins to ring. Tajirika reveals that he has been named the first chairman of the Marching to Heaven Building Committee. The office reception area is full of people looking for jobs. Nyawira, as she goes to replace the No Vacancy sign with one announcing temp jobs, runs into her ex-husband Kaniuru. He asks her to meet him at Mars Café, a space-themed café with affordable prices.
