Summary

WIZARD AND GLASS is a fiction novel, the fourth in Stephen King's Dark Towers series that tells the tale of Roland Deschain's quest for the Dark Tower. The story picks up at the end of the third novel in Mid-World, where Roland Deschain, Eddie and Susannah Dean, Jake Chambers, and Oy the billy-bumbler have escaped the ruined city of Lud on Blaine the Mono. Unfortunately, Blaine is planning to derail himself at the end of the line in Topeka, killing him and all on board. Roland and the others challenge him to a riddle contest, and if they win, they get to keep their lives. Roland says his experience of riddling contests in his home city of Gilead will allow them to tell quality riddles, as well as a riddle book Jake bought in New York City before he came to Roland's...
