Summary
In Chapter 9, a teen named Heath was the first witness called by Swoboda. Heath testified that Junior had delivered propane cylinders to his family’s store about 2 p.m. the day that Eileen and Son were murdered. There was no time of delivery indicated on the receipt so Swoboda had to work with estimates.
The second witness for the defense was Len McGuire who testified that Junior delivered to his business about 3 p.m. He also did not indicate a time of delivery on his receipt. McGuire was questioned about Junior’s demeanor. He said he noticed nothing unusual.
