Summary
In “Sahar,” Gloria wished she could talk to her delivery woman, Sahar (85). Sahar had delivered her food several times in a row, but each time Gloria always lost her ability to speak. Sahar also left notes with Gloria’s food.
Because the food was bad, Gloria threw it out. The closer to retirement she came, the less Gloria cared. Her late husband Maurice had wanted to do the same when he retired. However, he had died before retirement
Over a glass of wine, Gloria wrote a note to Sahar. She planned to give it to her the next time she saw her.
