Slumps

Slumps are unborn calves still inside a cow taken to a slaughterhouse. The unborn baby is removed from its mother and ground up to be used as dog food. This is the meat Gary feeds to his dogs on the race trail.

Minnesota

Gary moves his family to Minnesota to pursue a simpler lifestyle. They live mostly off the land gardening, hunting, and trapping. As part of their new lifestyle Gary obtains four sled dogs and a trapping sled that he uses to bring in money for the family.
