Summary

In Chapter 12, the narrator prepared to go to her mother's apartment for Seollal. The girl with the bandages had been staying in her room, but each time the narrator saw her, another layer of bandages had been removed. The narrator went to the supermarket and bought a manhwa comic, which looked very different from Kerrand's comics. At the guest house, she gave the comic to Kerrand and he asked if she wanted to have dinner with him. She offered to make soup, but he wanted to go out. The narrator felt hurt but agreed.
