Summary
In Irene, Irene had written down everything Marilyn had told her. Russ was killed when the helicopter he and a local woman were riding in was hit by lightning between Virgin Gorda and Anegada. Croft had Russ’ property manager identify the body. It had already been cremated. Irene was shocked. She believed she should have been the one to identify her husband. When Irene asked why Russ was in the Virgin Islands, Marilyn told her that he owned a home there, a piece of information that was unknown to Irene. Irene asked if it was positive it was her husband who was dead. When Irene said she was going to St. John, Marilyn discouraged her, but gave her the name Paulette Vickers as a contact if Irene insisted.
