Summary

In Chapter 25, Win and Patricia are still at Lockwood. They are in their grandfather’s parlor. Patricia is sitting in their grandfather’s chair. She talks about how she tried to hide the past. Now it has surfaced. She says she focused on the butterfly when her captor raped her. Win is drunk by now and thinks about how he and Patricia really do not know each other. He thinks silence is bonding, but he decides to speak. He points out that she does not call him when she is in New York. She says that she does sometimes, and he agrees that he would not want her to call every time she comes. She asks him if he thinks she killed Ry. He says he would understand if she did. He would want to know so that they could hide the truth...
