Will Grayson (Narrator 1, Will)

Will is a high school student at Evanston. His best friend since childhood is Tiny Cooper, but he would not choose this friendship. Will prefers to fade into the background and not draw too much attention to himself. His main motto for life is to shut up and not care too much. This suggests that he fears losing people and getting heartbroken. He goes out of his way to avoid forming close relationships so that he will not end up caring too much.
