Summary
The action begins at Pittock Mansion, where Prue thanked Richard for delivering her to the Governor-Regent. He returned to his mail delivery duties, but not before assuring Prue that she could count on him if she ever needed help. Prue was overwhelmed by the chaos of the scene inside. Hoards of people and animals were talking loudly and periodically chasing after the Regent's attache as he passed through the foyer before disappearing again behind doors. She learned from a mouse, that in order to see the Governor, she was required to make an appointment in an office down the road and then wait several weeks before there was an chance of seeing him.
