Jenica
Known to her family and friends as "Jena," she is the second-oldest daughter of the family. Jena says early in the book that she feels responsible for her sisters. As the story progresses, it becomes apparent that she is the more responsible of the sisters and that the others look to her to make decisions and solve problems. Jena accepts that role though she sometimes wishes she could simply have fun without worrying about others. Jenna has spent a great deal of her life learning the family business with the hope that she'll someday be able to play a role in the business. Jena believes she'll be the sister who remains at home with her father, caring for him without ever falling in love and having a family of her own.
