Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

In Chapter Seven, Cezar heads to the village with the intention of gathering a party to hunt down the killer but leaves Razvan to guard the girls. Razvan agrees but obviously wishes he could go with the hunters. After they are gone, Jena takes her sisters to their room where she confesses that she might have caused the death of the girl by wishing for help. The younger three girls are appalled that Jena listed to Tadeusz at all but Jena can't help considering what she might learn if she returns to the Other Kingdom on the Dark of the Moon. She admits she's "beguiled" by the memory of Tadeusz's voice but doesn't believe that's the only reason she wants to go. Later, Gogu urges that she dismiss the idea. Jena continues to think about Tati's attraction to Sorrow and decides...
