The Raxter Campus

Raxter is the campus housing the girls' school that Hetty, Byatt, and Reese attend. The campus is surrounded by a fence on three sides and fronts the ocean on the other, and is on an island that can only be reached by boat. Hetty, Byatt, and the other girls arrived by ferry. The girls have fortified the fence by adding the lids from cans of soup and bits of glass, making it more secure against the Tox-infected animals lurking outside.

The Visitor Center

The visitor center's building is at the opposite end of Raxter Island from the school. It is where the ferries arrived when there is still traffic to and from the school.
