Section 15: Pages 451 - 487 Summary
Peter flies to Jerusalem to be met by a driver holding a placard with Sir Steven Stride written on it. He asks Peter/Steven if he can drop a parcel off on their way, promising it won't take two minutes. The driver pulls a parcel from the trunk, leaving Peter in the car as he goes into a building, again telling Peter two minutes. It takes a full minute for Peter to realize the ticking he is hearing is not either the engine or a clock. He realizes in that moment that Magda's Mossad connection is Cactus Flower, and he bails from the car, grabbing his bag and runs for a low brick wall just fifty feet away, diving behind it. He opens his mouth to absorb the concussion just as the bomb blows up in the car.
