Section 9: Pages 273 - 295 Summary

The helicopter almost abandons its efforts as visibility down to nothing, but at the last moment they see the church spire. They find the manse and the order of Delta is given. The team jumps out at the house, but before Peter can bail the last man out, he notices a car driving recklessly from the garage. He directs the pilot to follow the car. Luckily, the vehicle has a roof rack, and Peter manages to jump down onto it. He barely holds on as Gilly tries to dislodge him. It almost works, but Melissa-Jane's screams from inside give Peter new strength. He pulls forward and leans over the windshield, shooting Gilly several times.
