Summary
Chapter One
Blake Harrison needed a wife but not an emotional commitment. All he needed was a contract - a deal that would benefit both parties for a year - then each could go his and her separate ways. To make it work, he needed someone he wasn’t even remotely attracted to. Blake wasn’t about to pretend that he was in love. He decided to use a dating service to attain his goal.
Blake was explaining all this to Carter on the phone as Neil, his driver, was taking him to his appointment with Sam Elliot who would be helping him in this pursuit. Finding a wife before the week was over was crucial. It meant keeping his ancestral home and his title and what remained of his father’s fortune.
