Secrets
Though most people have one or more secrets that they hope to keep from becoming public, human nature makes that difficult. In Widespread Panic, the rich and famous hide information that could destroy their lives and careers. Unfortunately, the inquisitive, greedy nature of others, such as Freddy, make a full-time business out of exposing those secrets.
Freddy Otash is a police officer with the LAPD when he murders a man named Ralph Horvath. Over the coming years, Freddy has conversations with a couple of people who mention Freddy's role in Ralph's murder. From this situation, it is clear that Freddy should know there are no secrets that are really sacred in this society.
