Min puts the earrings Ed put in her locker the following Monday at school into the box. Min mentions that the earrings are so not her style and wonders what Ed was thinking when he bought them.

Al and Min talk. He hands her a stack of postcards he says she can use for the party invitations. Al admits that he made up the girl in LA to make Min jealous, but that it didn't work. He indirectly admits that he is in love with Min. they agree to have coffee with each other sometime.

Min describes a time after practice when she idiotically waves at Annette. Min suggests she and Ed go to Willows, the flower shop where Ed buys flowers, to buy flowers for Lottie Carson to come to the party.

Ed slips about "her" not mentioning the earrings...
