Summary
Chapter 26 – The next morning (after both the fundraiser and his deep interaction with Amy) Rich wakes up to find her still there. They make drowsy, intimate, conversation, bonding over the shared difficulties they have with their kids (including, Amy reveals, her husband having sent their daughter to camp only a few weeks after the surgery to repair her post-Amy’s-affair brain hemorrhage). This leads them to make love again, achieving the first simultaneous orgasm Rich had ever experienced. Rich then hurries away to get ready to teach his class, encountering hungover colleagues in the lineup for bad food and bad coffee and finding a quiet table with Angel Solito.
