Summary
As Seth is released from the police station, he is greeted by a lawyer from the Wallace family. The lawyer says that the Wallace family will not be giving back any of Seth’s belongings or intellectual property. He says that the Wallace family is willing to give him $100,000 and monthly payments for living expenses if Seth agrees to never contact any member of the Wallace family ever again. Seth, realizing he has no recourse, signs the contract that the lawyer presents. Seth believes that the man the police arrested for Leonie’s death is Charlie Shaw, so he travels south on a bus and begins to make inquiries about the man arrested.
