Harvey

Harvey is the main character of the short story. Though the narrator never uses his last name in the text, the reader can infer from context clues that he is indeed the television mogul Harvey Weinstein.

After a litany of women accuse Harvey of sexual harassment and abuse, Harvey is facing trial. The day before the trial begins, Harvey is hiding at his friend Vogel’s house in Connecticut. Though he wakes up sweating, he convinces himself that he has nothing to worry about and will not be convicted of any crimes. He can think of many other powerful men who have done worse things than him, and are now living free lives.
