Chapter Two Summary
Sarah recovers from the vision. She knows she is linked to the other world now. She wants to tell Mom and Dad but knows she cannot. Sarah worries that the call for help was not an echo and that it was someone actually calling to her for help. Mom and Dad return with Chinese takeout and Sarah ponders the experience she just had. It feels like a dream to her as she eats with her family. The next day Sarah decides to take a bike ride and meets Dee Dee Pritchard, daughter of Evelyn and Sarah's new next-door neighbor.
