Bluff House

Bluff House is the Landon family home. It was built in the 1700s by Edwin Landon and his family in celebration of their great fortune. The house is three stories tall overlooking the Atlantic coast. The house seems to have a personality all its own, a determination to brave the harsh winter winds, secrets, and foes. The house is grand by any standard with gardens, a stone cottage, and an air of wealth. Golden sand walls, large terraces and master stone work finish the exterior. Inside the house the newel posts feature grinning gargoyles. The stairs sweep off to separate wings of the house. High arched windows give views of Hester Landon’s beautiful gardens or the formidable sea.
