Chapters 11-15

Eli writes a note to his sister Tricia which gives her an update on the events at Bluff House.

“’At this point it looks like some asshole’s been digging for mythical treasure. I don’t know what happened to the guy from Boston, whether he fell, jumped, or got tossed over the cliff by Captain Broome’s vengeful ghost.’” (Chap. 11, p. 132)

Eli sits down and begins to make notes about the events that have occurred since he discovered Lindsay had been cheating on him. The events included the request for divorce, Lindsay’s death, his arrest and up to the death of Duncan Kirby. Eli searches the house to see if anything is missing.
