Section 1: Dark
Chapters 6-10
Abra convinces Eli that he must fight to prove his innocence. Justin Suskind, Lindsay’s lover, has an alibi, leaving Eli as the sole remaining suspect. Abra tells Eli he should go to Boston and meet with his lawyer. Abra also tells Eli about Kirby Duncan, the private detective.
Eli continues to allow Abra to give him massages and eventually apologizes for being so difficult and resistant to her care.
Eli tells Abra she was right in badgering him to fight the lawsuit. Abra says she knows what she is talking about because she has watched a lot of lawyer shows.
