Eli Landon arrives at Bluff House. It has been 2-3 years since Eli has been back to Whiskey Beach. He had always been too busy with his work or his wife – a wife who had been cheating on him for 8 months before she was murdered in their home. Now Eli is back at Bluff House, his childhood home, to look after the place while his grandmother recovers from a fall. Eli is broken in almost every conceivable way and perhaps Bluff House is the place where he can begin to heal.
