Chapter 10 Summary
On Sunday, the police call Neeve requesting Tse-Tse's phone number. Neeve tells Tse-Tse that she has to tell the police about Ethel's threat to disinherit him. After they hear the story from Neeve and Tse-Tse, the detectives ask Tse-Tse to go with Neeve to see if anything else is missing from Ethel's apartment. Douglas Brown is hateful to them when they enter the apartment. Meanwhile, Myles thinks to himself how much mob money is laundered through the fashion industry. He wonders if Ethel might have gotten caught up in that. Jack and Neeve discover that the only clothes missing are winter clothes. Meanwhile, Tse-Tse has noticed that the antique dagger is missing. Douglas tells the police the only person that has been in the apartment has been Ruth Lambston.
