Chapter 28-36 Summary

In Chapter 28, Sean has a nightmare, presumably about his brother. Ellie holds him all night.

In Chapter 29, Brad calls the next morning. Ellie hasn't called out of work, and Amanda has swung by to see Brad. Brad is now worried about Ellie. Ellie's phone dies, and she uses Sean's phone to call her mother, to say she is saying at Amanda's. Sean suggests continuing their trip, and he will pay for it all. He suggests his family's vacation house and the Grand Canyon, but Ellie wants to keep looking for Nina. She shows him the address, and Sean's face turns red. He wonders whether finding Nina's drawing was really fate working in favor of them meeting one another. But Ellie wants to keep looking, and Sean agrees hesitantly. He tells Ellie he loves her.
