Wednesday, February 2 Summary
Soo-Lin goes to her support group and then goes home for family dinner night with her and her kids. She says Elgin resisted these dinners at first, but now he enjoys them because Bernadette never cooked, but always ordered takeout. Bee rushes in with the letter from the ship and the captain's report saying he wishes her mother is dead. Bee lashes out at Elgin and Soo-Lin.
That night, Elgin tells Soo-Lin he promised to take Bee to Antarctica. They leave the next day. They arrive in Santiago early the next morning. They go through immigration off the flight. They take a bus to a hotel where they'll stay until it's time to board the ship. Bee describes receiving the envelope full of information about her mom.
