Monday, December 13 Summary
Bernadette writes to Paul Jellinek from Seattle. She's telling him about Seattle and how much she hates it there. She's writing him about his idea to run a contest based on the twenty-mile house. She asks why he loves her so much. She says she always intended on returning to architecture, but then Elgin became so important at Microsoft that they had to stay in Seattle rather than allowing her to return to LA. She rambles on and on about all of the reasons she dislikes Seattle.
She admits that she has never stopped obsessing over Mills-Murray demolishing her house. Bernadette also admits to blaming herself for all of her miscarriages.
